lg g3 static in earpiece during phone calls

I am on my second LG G3 Smiley Sad and i want some answers as to why i have static in my earpiece when i am on the phone...not listening to music i've not even tried that yet not had either one of them long enough to do that .  i really don't want another phone. please some one help me
