Go back into settings and to Wi-fi. press the three bars in upper right screen. Go to Advanced and uncheck "Always allow scanning", and uncheck Wi-Fi notifications. Also under Keep wi-fi on during sleep, check "only when plugged in" . This will save your battery from the scanning drain.
