dropped calls in certain rooms

My LG-Lucid works fine except in my study, where I spend most of my time.  Calls get dropped and the connection is sometimes broken up.  In addition, my battery runs out in 6 - 8 hours even when I am not using the phone.

I have no trouble with calls in the rest of the house and battery life is 18 - 24 hours.

I am so sorry about the issues you are having with your device in your study. Lets investigate. What is the signal strength when you are in the study? Settings>More>Mobile Networks> Network type and strength. What is the signal strength when you are in the rest of the house? Have you tried to remove and reinsert the SIM and test connection again in the study? http://vz.to/1kxA22l
