backup assistant help!

Hope some one can help here! Just got a new LG Vortex phone and ran backup assistant many times. When I get the backup successful logo I then go into my contacts and find none! Backup assistant says I have 263 contacts backed up. Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Backup Assistant has been flaky since October. Although Verizon is aware of the problem, I don't believe that it is fixed yet.

Your best bet is to export the contacts out of backup assistant through the website as a csv file and import them into your google/gmail account. Then have the phone sync the contacts through Google.

And you may wish to make sure your gmail account is okay first.

U ROCK! I have not had my contacts for 2 weeks, after repeated calls with CSR. I have them now, they just will not backup.
