what do you mean back up your phone? What are you backing up? You can use Google Drive to back up most stuff. Of course you can put stuff on a SD card then insert that SD card into your PC.

Please provide the information asked by “boringusername” in the previous post. We need to know what you are trying to back up, what type of operating system you are using (Windows 10, Mac OS X, etc.), and any other applicable details.
