What would cause an apostrophe in a message, to appear as words and symbols on the receiving end? Doesn't appear it is all of my contacts who see it like that, only a couple have let me know it's an issue. Even with those couple, doesn't seem it is all the time. I'm confused....but that doesn't take a lot with technology, for me.

It's not your device. Some cell towers do not recognize special characters and that can cause odd word or symbols to appear. We recommend not sending any special characters or smiley face symbols. I've also seen this caused by symbols in a signature.
