activesync contacts- will I lose them when I delete my old email account?

I'm switching jobs so I'm going to delete an Exchange ActiveSync account in a few weeks.  I'd like to keep my contacts that were entered under that account.  Does anyone know if deleting the Exchange ActiveSync account also deletes the contacts?  There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to copy over the contacts into one of the other accounts I have running on my Samsung Galaxy S3 already (I have a gmail and another ActiveSync account running).  Thanks for the help.
