I know Verizon has confirmed a release date of online orders on 7/10 for the LG G3, but what variant will they be selling?

I've been looking for this info, too, but no one seems to know yet. I've even spoken to Customer service on the phone, and they're like, "The iPhone6 is coming...durr."

This is the big question for me. I will be very disappointed if they go with the 2gb version and only 16gb, it won't be the end of the world because I am really impressed with the design of the phone overall. But if another carrier like Sprint or T-Mobile will carry the higher spec version, then I would seriously consider switching . . . I loved LG back when they made flip phones and this phone is drawing me back to them.

Also waiting with bated breath for this phone and hoping for the 3GB model. And also was a big fan of the LG flip phones, not to mention having a kitchen full of new LG appliances and my wife's old but sturdy Optimus L9. I will finally allow my Blackberry to be torn from my hand....

I am not sure why this information is being held so tightly to the chest. Specs/Pricing, etc. should be released so that people who truly want the device can maybe prepare a little bit for the rollout. Also hoping that Verizon releases more than the standard Black and White versions of this phone. At the very least, maybe add the gray/silver. And if they are, tell us when so I don't go and buy a phone that I want having to settle for a particluar color. Same with the specs, don't release a 16gb/2g version and a month later drop the 32gb/3g on us. Tell us if you are.

I don't think that verizon will be offering the 2GB variant, as they would not let such an obvious spec be lacking. Big red is, after all, if nothing else competitive as Sh*t. Though even if they do, I hear it doesn't make that big of a difference. The real issue would be only having 16GB memory.

More than likely it'll be the higher end model.
Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T are all selling that model only.

I'm certainly hoping for the 3Gb RAM/32Gb ROM version too, but how would only 16Gb ROM be a "real issue?"...it has an SD slot with up to 128Gb capacity.

I prefer not using apps2sd. There's a lot of things that it causes problems for(One of the reasons why Google themselves removed their code for it). Right now my apps I install take up 19.2GB, and with the way Google changed how the OS interacts with the SD card it's not as good as it used to be. You have to modify the OS to make it like it was before.

You make a good point (particularly for Kit Kat users). I too am disappointed with how Google changed the interaction with the SD card...security was a factor as well.
It sounds like you've got quite a high amount of apps (or games with significant file sizes) installed. I have at least 72 downloaded apps (which excludes OS and preinstalled apps) which takes up less than 7GB.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for the hi-end version...the suspense is killing me.
