Go through the other threads and go through the data from XDA. All your rebuttals have been answered in those threads and XDA which is everything carriers are evil has data that'll back up what I said. Just because the radio supports it doesn't mean the rest of the hardware is there.

To answer your question as to why Verizon doesn't pay for FM radio so you can have it. Block C rules is the answer. Verizon is forced to license more spectrum support for their devices. People didn't want to pay extra and voiced against and sales of that device were the smallest of other carriers by a large margin. The cost difference was $50 due to block C rules. So everyone answered the question and Verizon accommodated. Now they will make sure the cost are the same as other carriers and they won't pay for features that will raise their prices over the competition.

Don't believe that is true. Look at the specs. Look at before Block C came into effect some devices had FM radio on them. Once block C came into effect they disappeared. That's some food for thought for you.
