Actually I didn't question the FCC link. When someone said it did pass I asked for the source. The person sited a website with no sources. So I wanted a better source, and because I wanted a better source people go up in arms. I shouldn't have to search for a person's source...

You asked initially for a link. A gave you the link that had the direct link to the FCC. And yet you've still continued to "stand by your statement" (ie argue) for two days. Since you obviously didn't take the time to read the initial link, I went and pulled the actual link out of the article to make it easier. You still "stood by your statement".
If you Google "Note Edge Verizon fcc", the actual FCC site with Verizon approval comes up on page two with all of the actual PDF files.
Bottom line, the phone passed FCC almost six weeks ago. Typically, phone release dates are announced very soon after approval. Verizon not only hasn't releases a date, but also haven't even given the slighest indication on if/when it will be released. Meanwhile, customers like myself, who pay almost $4,000 a year for cell service alone, wait in limbo. I don't have to have an exact date. Just give me an expected timeline so I can make an educated choice on whether to upgrade to the Note 4 or wait for the Edge. If you had told me two months ago that Verizon wouldn't have the phone released by years end, I would have said you're crazy. Now, two months later, and not only hasn't the phone been released, we don't even know what the hell the basic plan is. Meanwhile, I'm still using this God forsaken S5 that would be better served as a paper weight.

It didn't have a direct link when I looked. When I clicked on the link it took me to another article on their website. So uhm like I said multiple times... You said it was there I said link you gave me a link with a broken source and I wanted something better. There is NOTHING wrong with me asking and I SHOULD NOT have to search the source myself. You do this in college your paper fails 100% for failure to cite sources.
With the way rolls are reversed... If I said something I better have sources here... So what's the problem or is this a double standard?

THE DIRECT LINK IS IN THE ORIGINAL ARTICLE I LINKED!! you can click it and it takes you directly to the FCC site! That's WHY I linked the article, and that's WHERE I COPIED AND PASTED the FCC site! Sweet Jesus.

Like I said when I clicked on it... It took me to a DIFFERENT article specially the articles about the Note EDGE for AT&T and T-Mobile and their photos of their pdfs. /sigh whatever have fun with it. Complain to hearts content. I wish people put this kind of effort to whatever is wrong with this country instead of luxuries... Our country may be better off...
My money is on Jan 13th at the earliest and based on Verizon track record, but again... It doesn't matter to me.

People, seriously. Such frustration and anger about not knowing for sure whether one specific model of phone will be available and when? Really? This is the most important and worst thing going on in your life right now? Its worth getting all angry about? Its a phone, people. A phone.
Get some perspective. Go help out at a homeless shelter, or visit old folks at a nursing home. Then see how abhorrent and frustrating it is that you don't have information about a specific phone is. See how terrible it is that you might not be the first to have this device. Booo frickin hoooo!

Ah, so you're desensitized... point is that throwing a fit over a phone is childish.

So is being upset over just about anything your cellular carrier does, or for that matter, poor or deceptive behavior on the part of most companies you deal with. I hope you offer the same zen advice in all other such situations. Of course, that will leave you a very, very busy man.
As BigLefty said, thanks for contributing.
