Nearly everyone on the forum was complaining that they did not have the update yet, but when they got it, they complained about it more. You asked for it, and downloaded it, so just accept it.

This is an ignorant comment. It's called alpha and beta testing.

Which may have been what Verizon was doing, until half a million people were complaining that they didn't have it. Complaining customers=Rush=incomplete testing=more complaining customers

This has been the main issue I've had with Android smartphones. Updates and problems they cause. I've been using an iPhone for business purposes for years on another carrier and updates don't wreak the havoc they do on the Android phones I've had. Is it the carriers' faults? Dare I say that, lest the Verizon shills jump down my back. But to the OP's question about why people complain that they want updates? They just want the latest and greatest. And then, all heck breaks loose.
