There has been no announcement about the availability of the global update for the SGSIII.

Yup Demmo is Correct:  on My Motorola's the only way i was able to make one of them Global is Downloading I.C.S. OS and i'd say that when the SIII gets ice cream it will probably have the Global feature Added..
