You can do that pretty easily. Once you mom activates he GS5 on her line

the device can then be transferred to your sister. I'm having to transfer

around devices myself so I can keep my unlimited data lol

Thanks Dwayne! I think I am about to lose my unlimited data with this switch. My mom and sister live on the other side of the country so I wanted to be sure that would work before I had her do the BOGO.

I received an email this morning stating that my preorder had been

cancelled with no reason given. I called Verizon and worked it out and

they said that the preorder wasn't cancelled. Anyway, I called back a few

minutes ago to verify once again that it wasn't cancelled and the woman I

spoke with said that it wasn't. I then asked her if there was any

indication of when the preorders might start shipping out and she told me

that they wouldn't even have them until the 11th, so they won't ship until

at least the 11th, which means I won't receive it until the 14th or 15th.

If that's true, I wasted my time preordering. I could have just walked

into my local store on the 11th and picked one up. What's the advantage of

preordering again?

That is disappointing news seeing as pretty much every other major carrier is guaranteeing delivery to their pre-order customers by 4/11.  Apparently, there is no point in pre-ordering with Verizon.

Now that's how a pre-order should work! I happened to notice on Verizon's site that "pre-orders" now ship by 4/14.  Not sure how that ties into all of us that ordered day one, but, it doesn't sound promising.

Yeah kind of dumb but in honesty, was it worth the switch (and poorer service) to get the S5 like 5 days sooner? If the answer is yes, than good job. For me, uhh...I could care less if I am stuck with my old phone for a few more days, lol.

Not only that but Verizion preprder gets you a BOGO. I'll sacrifice a few days to get an extra one free.
