Visual Voice Mail update on Droid

I received a notification this afternoon that there was an update for Visual Voice Mail. I did the update and discovered that it had erased all of my previously saved messages! I have had Visual Voicemail for a couple of years and have never had messages erased. Anyone else have this happen to them?

yes. but i didnt intiate the visual voicemail update. Its been +24 hrs since update 2.1..... and im getting down to the cut off date. i have to make a decision if im keeping droid.

I checked today and all of my old saved messages are back.
