I have master reset my phone, and reinstalled the drivers, nothing helps. I called tech support and they told me its not really verizon software so can't trouble shoot it, which is a surprise considering it says Verizon all over the software. Also, the upgrade went off without a hitch on the other G2 on my account

Having the same issue w/ my LG G2. 4.4 KitKat is now available via Verizon's software upgrade assistant, but when I plug in the phone to my Windows PC, the upgrade assistant box doesn't pop up. I couldn't find the SWUpgradeLauncher folder, either.
Anyone have any luck? Would appreciate any advice.

Hi, Have you ever installed the VZW Assistant Tool? Please disable anti-virus software on your PC. Please changet the MSB connection mode to MTP and try again. have a look at this thread, https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/819107, some anti-virus software report the VZW assisatnt tool is malware, so some anti-virus software protect your system and disable the autorun. what is your PC's OS, ? Please find "\Application Data\VERIZON" on your PC
