This is all well and good in theory but follow through has been in short supply. I have three lines all with the LG G2 phone. One has been through three replacements, another through five and the last one is mine, which I have babied it along. They all have issues with battery drain, overheating, etc. This is a defect in the device, the OS, or their interaction with each other. Verizon has been of little help and will not replace the device, Asurion whom I have the additional third party insurance through won't replace the device either. Though both parties collect my money monthly; the offer I have been given is to go on the Verizon Edge program and purchase a new phone, or the early cancellation fee is $200 per line. I and my wife have made several contacts between Verizon and Asurion. I at this point am looking to file a compliant my states attorney general and the BBB. This is clearly larger than a one off issue, these complaints are on forums all over the internet; I was an early adopter of the phone as I have typically had good experiences with LG products so I had no warning. I would certainly hope on of the culpable parties be it LG, Verizon, or Asurion will man up and own this issue.
All one has to do is drop LG G2 recall into Google or other similar search engine these issues exist mainstream, not as one offs.
This thread should be locked. New updates and OS versions have come and gone since 11 months ago. The correct answer was even marked in sarcasm.
