I have a new Pantech Marauder smartphone. My data plan has 4GLTE. If I connect to my home WIFI, do I encure additional charges while using it instead of the 4G LTE.
Nope ... anytime you use wifi, whether at home or at a free public hotspot, you won't incur additional charges and you won't be using data from your monthly allotment.
