I have a contact listed as blocked but I get his calls anyway. How do I remove the blocked announcement

oh I see! it's because they're blocking their caller ID on their side so you cant see it purposely. the only way to block those is to have the FamilyBase feature set up which is an additional $4.99 a month.

are you wanting to unlock him or still have him blocked but you don't want the announcement to come on when they call?
what model phone do you own? and how did you block the number to start

The call comes thru, I never blocked this number but the screen tells me
its a blocked number. Have a motorola droid

There are apps (free) that will also give you the same ability to block numbers that come through as unavailable or unknown due to the caller blocking their number.
Call Blocker - Android Apps on Google Play
is one - there are similar ones listed on the right side of the page. Find one that works for you.
