Unable to send mail

Ok,I tried to send a pic via email on my Eris the other day,,,,,got a message Unable to send mail...........

 

Ok,no problem.no big deal...............but now I keep on getting that message at the top(in the form of an envelope)........I keep clearing it out,but it comes back constantly................

 

I dont care about sending that pic anymore..............how can i stop it from keep on trying to send it??

Sounds like the email is still in the outbox of the email app. If you delete email, the app will stop trying to send it.
