This morning I received the update. Sadly all my contacts are now missing. The message that is displayed on my contacts screen says "You don't have any contacts to display". Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?? The weird thing is that my call log and my favorites it still has the name and numbers of the contacts that i have called since before the update. This is annoying.
HELP!?

I doubt this is limited to your contacts... likely gMail as well.
I'm going to start a new thread focused on that...
If you are having issues with gMail sync on your Droid after the 2.0.1 update:

We just had the same exact problem with my sisters phone, try going into your contact list, hit menu, import/export, then export them to your sd card, and if they dont show up then, then import them back, and that might help
