Switched to Galaxy S4

So I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 today after my iPhone 4S met its doom in a puddle last night (fell out of my pocket).

Just wondering what people who currently have the phone think of it, is the interface clunky? The last android device I had was a Droid Eris and that left a very bad taste in my mouth and I have had an iPhone since then, so I'm a bit nervous about jumping from iOS to android. Has android greatly improved? Does it still become slugish? One thing I'm looking forward to is the 4G LTE connection, especially since I have unlimited data (was able to keep it since I used my wife's upgrade).

Thanks for your input in advance.

It's come a long way since the Eris. Well you have the s4. It should be pretty buttery smooth right? Sure.....after a while (and 100 apps) it will get a bit sluggish, but I have the note ii for 9 months now and its still running very smooth.

That's great to know, I'm looking forward to the GS4 when I get it, it'll be a new experience and the hardware specs on it are so great, I just couldn't consider getting an iPhone 5 when the GS4 specs blow it out of the water and it's the same price as the iPhone 5 (after mail-in rebate) without first trying the GS4, so I figured what do I have to lose.

I definitely am going to like the larger screen, especially since I send a lot of emails from my phone, my main hurdle will be getting my iTunes music to play on it..

if it's unprotected music (you own it) then you should be able to just copy the library from your itunes directory and throw it on an sd card. if you do have issues, try doubletwist or some other app. just a heads up....verizon has blocked a few features on the s4 (none that i would care about) but if you have trouble trying to do something, search here first (there's a pretty good thread somewhere) to see if it's a feature that was removed before you drive yourself crazy trying to figure out how to do it (call block is one that i can think of). samsung has it's own voice sommand software (s-voice) but google now can also be enabled. i mostly use google now, but i do use s-voice to set reminders, as it works better for me than google now for that one task. have fun!!
