I have a Samsung Stratosphere. It has stopped vibrating when it receives text msgs. The setting are all correct. I have turned it off and on. Taken the battery out. It still vibrates for phone calls. It also vibrates when it gets to 30% battery life. So the vibrate does work. It just will not vibrate for a text msg. Does anyone have any suggestion or knowledge about it.
Pardon me, I know you said the settings are all correct, but just to double check: both Home > Menu > Settings > Sound settings and Messaging > Menu > Settings > Notification settings need to be appropriately set to vibrate. If they are, then perhaps a new app is doing something to interfere? Are you using the Messaging app that comes with the phone?
