I recently got a samsung stratosphere and have been having problems with the vibrate feature. Even though I have set vibrate feature to "only vibrate in silent" and have since switched it to vibrate "never" it will still always vibrate with every notification I receive. It doesn't vibrate for texts or when the phone rings, just for notifications like when I get a new email. This is very annoying when i'm trying to sleep and my phone keeps going off for every piece of spam entering my email inbox. Has anyone else had this problem? Can it be fixed or is it a software issue?

The setting that needs fixing may be in the e-mail app. Open it, press Menu, then More, then Account settings. Scroll down to Notification settings. Tap Vibrate and see what it's set to. Unless, of course, this is the one you've already set to "Never"! In that case, I have no idea.
