I'm horribly disappointed with the Email app on my LG spectrum. I have been unable to create an account for my personal email account on spamcop.net. I always get a very vague error about "couldn't connect to server" or "username/password incorrect" or something like that. I use the same parameters that I use in Thunderbird on my laptop and that I used on my CrapBerry.
It's bad enough that it won't connect, no matter which combination of parameters I try. To add insult to injury, the worthless error message doesn't tell me WHICH of the two servers (IMAP or SMTP) it couldn't connect to. AND when I want to then try different settings, I have to enter ALL of it in again--none of the previous entries are saved.
Has anybody had any better luck with this horrible excuse for an app? Any way to see more detail on what's going wrong? Is there another email app that others have had better luck with?
You seem like suck an angry person..
anyway try k-9mail, or calling your email provider for settings on a phone. it might not be push mail
