I've been trying to link up my Facebook account to my Droid X. I read in the manual that once its link it would ask sync all, sync some, or sync none. However this option does not appear and I end up getting all my friends on my contact list. Anyone know how to select who u want to link?

Restart the setup and follow these steps:

1. Set up Facebook as a Social Network to automatically receieve updates and messages through your homescreen widgets

• To add Facebook to your Social Networking Accounts:

1. Pull up your Applications menu and select My Accounts
2. Select Add Account
3. Tap on Facebook
4. Sign into your Facebook account as normal and press next to sync.

• To add Facebook to your Social Networking Accounts via Messaging Widget:

1. Tap on Messaging Widget
2. Select Add Account
3. Tap on Facebook
4. Sign into your Facebook account as normal and press next to sync.

• If you have set-up several other Social Networking accounts, you can also access via  Socal Networkingapplication.

1. Pull up your Applications menu and select Social Networking
2. Press Menu button, Select Manage Accounts
3. Select Add Account
4. Tap on Facebook
5. Sign into your Facebook account as normal and press next to sync.

The first time you login you will be prompted to Sync friends with Contacts.

You have three options to choose from:

• Sync all - Sync data about all friends to Contacts
• Sync with existing contacts - Sync data only about friends already in Contacts
• Don't Sync - Use infomration about friends only in Facebook

You have the option to change this later in Facebook Settings.

You will also be asked to use photos from Facebook for those contacts, however this can be declined..

That's what it says in the manual. However the part of being asked what I want to sync never comes up and there's no option under settings
