Skip activation on old phone

Hey guys,

Does anybody know how can I skip the Verizon Activation process on a Droid 3?

I just upgraded my old phone (Droid 3) and I want to use it only as a media player, so I reset it to factory settings to start from zero, but it keeps asking to activate it, since this is an old phone that doesn't have service anymore and I don't want to use it as a phone, what can I do to skip the activation process?

You could try Tapping the 4 corners of the Phone i remember this as one of the Ways to move to the Main Screen or at the Start of the Activation if Skip pops up tap Skip every time till you get to the Main Screen) you might have to enter you Google account in your ( D 3 )  though it's been While since i done this but as i mentioned you might be able to skip it..

As of using the phone for a Music Device if you have Wi-Fi you can Stream your Music that What i do this with my Droid X from Time to Time when i want to pull her out of Moth Balls.. Taking her out of her box running her again b33

At the "touch the android to begin" screen, touch the four corners, starting in the top left corner. ONLY touch the black area: do not touch the grey parts of the screen.

It should dump you to the homescreen, and it won't prompt for activation again.
