Second Phone Number

Does Verizon support having your phone serviced by 2 phone numbers?  I moved and would like to get a new local number, but I want my old number to still be serviced for a few months so I don't lose any business.  I would rather not port  my existing number to Google Voice or Skype.

I agree...on my cell I also have the google voice app that has a local number that I use when posting classified ads, etc. I dont want goofballs calling me after the fact.

They can not assign two numbers to a phone.

I know how important it is to maintain your availability when transitioning to a new phone number.  At this time we are unable to activate two phone numbers to one device.

Perhaps start early communications to your customers prior to the change.
