Is there anyway to remove the preinstalled applications with the stratosphere? I have about 29 to 30 apps that are just taking up data and space on my phone that I don't use or have any interest in using.

No, and any other method also means voiding the phone's warranty.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I think you slightly exaggerate the number of system apps you have. I count 21, 10 of which I use regularly. Unless you are nearly out of storage space, these apps don't mean anything, other than VZW forces us to have them whether we like it or not.

I also find it annoying. About the only thing you can do is get them out of your line of sight. The shortcuts can be deleted from the Home screens, and in the Applications area you can create a folder and move them all into it so you don't see them.
