Samsung S3 PHONE function not working after latest update...

I allowed the latest update to be done earlier. Now the phone is USELESS as a phone!

It can dial and it can receive calls, but there is no sound.  When making a call, I cannot hear it "ringing" either on the phone itself or when connected through Bluetooth. An incoming call I can answer, but again, there is no sound. This is on the phone itself and on the callers end.

WONDERFUL UPDATE SAMSUNG!!

Dominoe100, software updates are intended to provide a much better wireless experience, not worse!  I am so sorry that this wasn't your experience.

Please try soft resetting the device by removing and reinserting the battery http://vz.to/1q9ENBb.  Once powered back on, please test the audio and let me know how it works.  If the audio issue is still not resolved, please test the device with it powered up in Safe Mode http://vz.to/UclNX8.  Does the audio of the device work while in Safe Mode?  This will help us to determine if the issue is software or application related.  Keep me posted so that I can further assist.  Thanks!
