Whatever you recently tried to fix is not working. Ridiculously slow,
everything from fox news to spotify is constantly crashing. Multiple apps
disappeared. Need to pull battery at least every other day. Probably
worse than the original release for me.
Fire everyone and start over. Whatever you have been trying for months
obviously isn't working.

I would just like to say, 6 months from when this fiasco began.
4 Phones later,
Blown off by Verizon support so many times it is staggering.
Still no working phone.
So anyone know whats better mediation or arbitration?
I'm not paying for something I can't access because the phone is a paperweight.

I couldn’t agree more. With all the securities and pharma/device class action suits out there; I can’t believe no one has gone after Verizon and/or Samsung yet. Never mind us family plan peons, corporate customers with tens of thousands of lines must be wasting tons of time and $ dealing with issues and upgrades.
ShanaK, I’d be willing to bet that if you paid for an s6 upgrade, your problems would be solved.

You know that is Verizon's big fix.
I should "steal" an upgrade from another line to replace the phone that the update they pushed broke.
Since we have a few lines coming out of contract.
I find it utterly hysterical that Verizon's answer to the problem is theft.

pstreck1, we want things to get better for you! Let's start fresh. Try deleting any unwanted applications on your device and power it off/on to soft reset it. It would also help to delete applications that you want to keep and then redownload them. Keep us posted.

I have done everything short of a hard reset. And no, you can't have 3
hours of my life for me to reset and restore my phone.
The fact there is a black market on ebay and craigslist for people to pay
strangers to downgrade their phones should tell you something. If a pimple
faced kid can downgrade my phone remotely from his mom's basement; verizon
and Samsung can't?

I went through this mess a couple months ago where the update made my phone completely useless, even the factory reset wouldn't fix it. With the help of the Verizon rep at the mall, I ended up getting a warranty replacement phone sent to me. My phone is working just fine with Android version 4.4.4 and by the recent comments being posted, there are still issues with version 5.0 Lolipop on the Galaxy S5. Now my phone is bugging me constantly about installing the new update (5.0), but I don't want to do it. How do I get my phone to stop trying to get me to install the update?
