I recently returned form an overseas trip (South Africa) and took my Samsung Galaxy S3 Black 16G phone. While there I purchased a third party sim card with talk/data minutes. I recently returned and replaced my Verizon sim card but now cannot access data unless I have a WIFI connection. I think I have to change some wireless data settings but I have no idea how or what to change them to. I would appreciate any help.

I hope the data is working at this point so I apologize for the delay.
Now that the Verizon SIM card is in the SIII are you able to go to:
Apps>Settings>Wireless and Network>More Settings>Mobile Network>Global Data Roaming Access to make sure it is allowed?
Also check Apps>Settings>Wireless and Network>More Settings>Mobile Networks>Mobile Data>Enable.

Thank you very much for the information provided. Please change change network mode to Global. Once you make that change please power off phone completely and then power on. Give that a try and keep us posted.
