Red Exclamation Point- LG Ally

In Messaging, on the LG Ally, there is a red exclamation point that looks like a road sign next to one of the names I texted to.  What is this?  And what does it mean?

That almost sounds like there was an issue with the delivery of a message. Can you select the contact line in that app and if it gives you more information?

That icon means Problem with Text or Multimedia message delivery. You can access your device manual by clicking on the link below.
