If I have the phone up to my ear I can barely hear the person on the other line. But if I put it on speaker I can hear perfectly fine. I have double checked all the volumes and they are where they have been since I've had the phone. This just started yesterday..Any ideas?

First step of troubleshooting - have you restarted the device?

Entirely possible your speaker is going bad. If you have the availability of canned air or an air compressor - lightly blow some air in there, could be a blocked speaker as well.

I would not recommend an air compressor and if you use canned air .. only blow the air across and not into. ! Air pressure can cause damage to sound transducers. Also the speaker is working, the problem is related to ear sound transducer.
