Hi all, last week was the first time I got the notification on my Razr M that the KitKat update was available - yay!
I've downloaded KitKat (~495MB) probably 5x on WiFi over the last week, and each time it goes to install the phone reboots, shows the Android man with his stomach getting worked on, and then about 25% of he way in I get a red exclamation point and a failure notification when the phone boots up again.
My Razr M specs:
- Version: 98.18.94.XT907
- Android version: 4.1.2
- Baseband: SM_BP_101032.021.32.80P
- Build: 9.8.1Q-94 (Sept 25, 2013)
I've made sure I have 2GB+ free space available internally. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm sorry you weren't able to get the update adr0387. Let's get to the bottom of this! Have you tried downloading it on our network? If so, there may be an application interfering. Try it in Safe mode. Here's how: http://bit.ly/QYIRjG

Thanks Joe! I just downloaded the KitKat update again, this time while in Safe Mode, and when my phone went to automatically reboot to install it, I got the same installation failure at about 25% again.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks!

Thanks for your efforts adr0387! Let's clear any conflicting system files that are preventing completion of update! Do a hard reset http://vz.to/159Lipc and then process update. Keep us posted.

Are there any other potential solutions? A hard reset will wipe all my accounts, app, music, data, etc...
