RE: range of GPS locator in 4G LTE DROID

We use a 4G LTE DROID to locate and monitor vehicles. It seems that the location is not truely correct. What is the location range error? Although there seems to be some error it would be nice to know so I can assure that even the approximate location is in the same area and not wrong altogether.

GPS accuracy is going to vary depending on a lot of things. Weather and atmospheric conditions can throw it off, but more likely, it'll give errors if you're around a lot of tall buildings like skyscrapers. These reflect the signals, causing what are called "multipath errors," which can throw off your GPS location or even prevent you from getting a lock entirely.

With clear lines of sight, accuracy is typically down to as little as 20 feet.
