RAZR M WON'T BOOT

Motorola RazR M does not start.
About three/four days ago, our RazR M started to reboot itself.  Then yesterday, it booted itself again and got stuck on the screen that has the red supernova looking thing.  We can't get it to do anything.  Have taken it into the local Verizon store, and the workers there are missing a few rocks.  So they called into 'tech support' and the people there said to them that we have to reset it.  You can't reset until you get the thing to start.  We informed 'tech support' that we've tried a soft boot, a hard boot, a Safe Mode.. NOTHING!!!  it will power up to the supernova thingy and then will stick there until it runs out of battery.  We recharge it, and it begins again.  We've tried removing the Sim card, and doing all of the above.  It's charged on the plug it came with.  Plugged into a receptacle that is good.  We can charge it off our computers... (though computers can't see the phone all the way, since the phone isn't booted.  what can we do to get this dang thing to boot?  Was there a recent update in the last 3 - 4 days in the month of February 2016???? We receive automatic updates.  Is there anything we can do?

Same exact thing happened today to my wife's Razr M. For the past few days she has had trouble then today it dropped a call and would bing about every two seconds. When it binged you would see a symbol on the top of the display like a memory card with a circle with a line through it. Then would go away. Did a soft test and power down. Removed the SD card and SIM card and replaced twice.  Now will not boot and stays on the 'super nova" symbol. Does the same thing with the SD card and SIM card removed or installed. Feb. 21, 2016.
