RAZR M Android Updates

This is my first smart phone.  It appears to me Motorola is not as quick as Samsung and others when it comes to updating their operating system.  Motorola certainly does not announce any planed updates like others seem to.  Am I right?

All the manufacturers are about the same in their time frame for releasing updates. Motorola in the past has issued update schedules for their devices.

While you are wrong on both points, the RAZR M is getting to be an older phone and it's update life may be coming to an end.
