Question, your opinion, please?

I'm thinking about creating a YouTube Channel, specifically for answering questions, and talking about Android Phone Care (With hardware and software), Tips and Tricks for you Verizon Phone. I'll probably including other phone care tutorials/tricks (Such as the MT3G/G1/Eris/Hero

I'm sure that I'll name is something completely silly like "AndroidMike" or something like that, but I was wondering from this community, if you guys thought it was a good idea.

Of course I'll still be posting here, as not everyone enjoys seeing videos (especially with my visage, *gag*), and most actually go here since it is officially from the Verizon site.

~All opinions are greatly appreciated, thank you :smileyhappy:

I've been a Verizon customer for six years.  I went to a Verizon store today to buy a Droid.  My intention was to stop using my current Verizon phone and switch over to the Droid.  I was told that because I'm only a year into my current 2 year contract with Verizon that I would have to wait a year to get the Droid at $199.00.  However, I could pay $599.00 to switch over now.

The decision by Verizon to effectively ban all current Verizon customers from switching to Droids until their contracts expire seems to me to make no business sence at all.  In fact, it seems rather stupid on their part for the following reasons.

They are in a battle for market share in the next big market... Smart Phones.  And getting market share early in the game is much easier than getting it later.

The iPhone was first to the market, but it's not too late to be first to the market with Google's Antroid OS.  And being first is a big deal.

By making me wait until my Verizon contract expires they eliminate any financial motivation that I might have to stick with Verizon.  All the carriers and smart phones are back to a level playing field and I'm free to pick whomever I want.  In that scenario I would probably go with the iPhone instead of the Droid because all my friends who have an iPhone absolutely love it.

Why Verizon doesn't want to lock me, and millions of people like me, into their smart phone network and benefit from the increased monthly income is beyond me.

Your thoughts?

That was... um... completely unrelated to anything posted here.

I'd check it out. Following instructions on a screen are trumped by watching a person actually do the task. Like a virtual tactile environment to learn by.

Thanks so much for the feedback, I figured that some people might appreciate it better if they not only read but saw it. I'm probably going to buy an android shirt from www.androidandme.com to do so rofl.
