Hey im having an anoying issue with my contacts.. I finally got all my contacts sorted out and merged and i wanted to start putting them into groups.. now the problem is lets say i move "John" into friends.. well now "John" no longer shows up under "All" in the contact list.. anyone know what im doing wrong

Get in your Gmail account is do it manually to make sure it's matching correctly. Sometimes its easier to do the contact tasks from Gmail on a computer initially. Everything will sync to the phone quickly...
The "people", "groups" tab should have all your labels marked as you prefer.
The "people", "all" tab will list everyone in your contacts from your gmail, facebook, flickr, phone contacts, etc.
