Problem Downloading Cloud Desktop App

The Cloud software on my Windows 7 supported computer prompted me to update. It tried but seemed to have a problem and it disappeared. I went to Verizon site and have tried to download the app again several times. I keep getting errors associated with loading the following files:

  • avocodec-53.dll
  • avformat-53.dll
  • avutil-51.dll
  • libexpat.dll
  • sescale-2.dll
  • Verizon Cloud Service.exec

So needless to say it doesn't work. I turned off my malware program and "turned down" Microsoft Security Essentials.

Any suggestions?!?

That's really strange, toobusytom. It sounds like the original install is completely gone. Have you checked to see if it is fully removed from your list of installed software under Control Panel>Add/Remove?

If you try and download the software, does your PC attempt to run the install software?

The icon still shows in the Programs list. It now seems to work and I can't explain why it didn't before. I am confused but happy it is functioning. Thanks!
