I ported my phone number over from a US Cellular account to a prepaid verizon account with a new phone. Now I can send and receive texts and make calls but any incoming calls go directly to voicemail on the old US Cellular phone. My wife has the same issue. I've reset the phones and pulled the sim cards and reset (then reinstalled). I also called VErzon serivice and they could only tell me to pull the sim card. What else might work?
Time ... it can take a few hours for the whole port process to complete. Try and be patient and try again in the morning.
