Recently updated Droid and lost all my photos & wallpaper, but not music. Music was on card but why wasn't the other stuff? Verizon has Pix Place for photos, where can I send my Droid pics online?

I believe you would have to physically back the photos and wallpaper up yourself. You can send the pictures just to your email account. Then open them on your computer and save them that way.

In addition to sending your photos to your .gmail account or Picasa, you can also connect the USB cord to your computer to retrieve your SD card media. All media should be contained within the DCIM folder. Furthermore, any media that's compatable to the Android can be copied over to your phone into your phone's DCIM folder from your computer. Remember to "Mount" and "Unmount" when using the USB function. Your device will tell you in the notification panel. There's no need to create separate folders for different media. Once your device is unmounted from the USB, the Android will automatically place each new media or any media updates to the appropriate slots.
Hope this helps.
