Typically, 2-3 bars 4G, but drops suddenly. Right now, no signal. About 30

seconds ago, 3 bars 4G. I'm using wi fi for Internet.

Thanks for that information! If this would be the only device on the account that is having issues within the area it may be the device itself. We can try to reset the device to it's factory defaults to ensure that there would be no software issues. To see how to reset you can check here http://vz.to/1yXrB3D. This may also allow us to "reinstall" the OS update so to speak. Keep us updated.

That is the very last thing I want to do. Based on what I've read

elsewhere, a factory reset is unlikely to solve this. I'm not the only one

with this problem and the problems seem to stem from the update itself.

Aside from the hassle of resetting and reinstalling everything, I will

irretrievably lose progress on several games, including any purchases

within those games. I would like some assurance that a reset would fix the

issue rather than simply result in a reset.
