So I have a moto x second generation and randomly tonight it lost service how do I fix this I've turned it of rebooted it? Help?

Could be an outage in your area.  One thing to try is to turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a minute or two, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and allow a fresh network connection to be established.
