Nexus Six for Christmas

Guess what Verizon, I've got an upgrade and I asked for the Nexus 6 for Christmas, guess what I got, a 250$ check and knee high socks. When is this damn phone coming out, or will it never?  I need an answer soon, or I might just switch to Sprint, T-Mobile, Us-Cellular, or if I have too AT&T. Please, I enjoy Verizon and would rather stay with you, I need a solid answer.

no need to wait.  most of those companys will pay your etf, wait you dont have a etf now so what are you waiting for?

there is no solid answer, there is no date, no one can tell you a exact date, if thats not good enough switch and get the phone you want with no service

There are a lot of people on these forums that claim that. Beginning of next year, December 13th, yada yada yada.

There has never been any word from any one at Verizon claiming to have this phone. It is all some unnamed source.

AND that is the issue, if I could make calls from a 7" tablet I probably would. I am always looking at spreadsheets and the like. Verizon offers one phablet. The Note4. I am sick of Samsung.

Now to those of you who say just leave Verizon. If it was just a phone to talk to my wife sure I would leave. Since my office phones are forwarded to my cell I can't have spotty service or dropped calls.

No my phone is not a luxury. I should be able to get the best phone to handle my needs and my carrier if it truly cared about me would offer what everyone else is offering.

Offering me an early upgrade on an Iphone but not any other phone. Yep, they are really concerned about my needs. Offering me a mini phone called a Turbo every time a walk into a store. Yep they really care about me. God forbid I say I am not interested in a Turbo. Then I get told what an idiot I am . Ask about the Nexus 6 and get told why would you want that?

I truly hate writing that check to Verizon every month. Believe me, if anyone else offered decent service I would be gone.

Bradley2833  We surely don't want you to leave us. We have many Android devices but there is not information about the Nexus 6. What feautres are you looking for in a device?

I know what features I would like, a stock Google flagship device for development purposes and without useless Verizon bloatware. It's really sad when US Cellular has the Nexus 6 and Verizon still does not. My contract was up in August and I waited for the announcement of the Nexus 6 and when that announcement came they said it would be available on ALL providers including Verizon. Now all providers besides Verizon has it available. It will be January in a few days. I am so sick of Verizon focusing only on their Droid line and leaving phones that carry the pure Google experience on the backburner. I am still using a Galaxy Nexus since Verizon got neither the Nexus 4 or the Nexus 5, well this is the final straw. If I don't see the Nexus 6 within the next month I am leaving this company and I have been with you guys for 9  years but it is getting old. Trust me, I am a member of multiple mobile development forums and I can assure you, there are many many more Verizon customers that are planning on leaving as well.

Verizon, get yourself together, people are sick of this!

All we want is a confirmation at this point. There has never been any announcement from a Verizon representative. There is a quote from an anonymous Verizon representative in October just stating Verizon will carry the phone. There is a quote from a reddit user saying December 13th. There has never been an announcement from Verizon.

All we want to know is will you support the phone if you don't carry it?

Will you carry it?

If you support the phone then maybe I just buy the phone from Moto and finance it. I jump on the Edge plan with a bring my own phone price. Again, I travel and if I have an issue can can't get help from my carrier the phone is useless so why spend the money.

If you are going to carry the phone just say it.

For those that say the large screen is a luxury. That is fine. I even tried the Turbo and Moto X and both are so damn tiny compared to my Note 2. There is no way I could edit spreadsheets and review numbers for the month on them.
