I just found a credit card in my wallet that will completely buy all my phones off of Verizon.

I'll let my son keep his iPhone there.

I think I'm done, unless some sort of announcement is made soon.

My Rezound has served its purpose and is slowly dying.

My upgrade is up...  There's nothing except this phone that I care for..

So, back to spotty Sprint for me..

Whoever makes the big decisions at Verizon is an embarrassment.

I've had it.

Omg, that's too funny. Sounds very familiar to me as I have the REZOUND and

have since Nov 2011. My major dilemma was after it launched then came the

galaxy with a larger screen but crappy plastic cheap build and really not

much of any improvement in the processor dept or anywhere else except

screen size. So really the DNA would be the next likely upgrade all except

it has virtually no storage and battery life that isn't much better than

the 1620 or 2750mah used in the REZOUND since the screen and ppi is

significantly lower. So now completely ready for a bigger screen and new UI

and faster processor we are completely held captive until Verizon does

something intelligent! I think AT&T and Sprint pretty much suck but what to

do if you want a better phone?

I seriously say we start an organized petition stating that they need to

announce and release the HTC One as it is or better(with an sd card slot)

within a few weeks of its competitors launch date. If that means pulling

the DNA commercials or discounting it or whatever the case just get it done

or else we will all take our business elsewhere! In reality they are still

completely different devices and sizes and at least consumers would have a

choice between 2 nice devices. Something must happen and Verizon better act

fast or lose a large chunk of valued customers along the way.

This is the final straw for me. AT&T will be getting my money in April.

I think with as many people as there are that are upset about this, it would behoove Verizon to announce the supposed DLXPLUS before there is a large fallout. Of course, with no way to contact anyone with info on this, we can only hope SOMEONE is looking at these threads. HTC has a booth at MWC next week, so maybe something then.

I dont think they care, they know they have the best network and this will guarantee them a certain percentage of the market no matter what phones they offer.

I live in an area saturated with 4G from Verizon, AT&T and now Sprint, so I have the luxury of choosing.

PLEASE VERIZON get the new HTC One phone. I was interested in the HTC Droid DNA but it is too big. The new HTC One phone is smaller and I think has a better camera,

Thank you

Joemill,  I also would have been happy with the DNA *if* they had provided 32Gb option.

My Thunderbolt has a cracked screen and is getting long in the tooth (though the ICS update has given it new life).

I can see how VZW may have wanted to experiment by offering a less $expensive (hence 16Gb no sdcard) version of the JButterfly in the DNA (which is attractively priced).  However, they should know by now how successful (or not) was the outcome.  Meanwhile, less than 32Gb is too huge of a step back in functionality for me (I don't want to be forced to mess around with "cloud" storage).

Now, that tantalyzing HTC One is enticing me and my other 4 fam share lines (only one for which I would owe for ET)...

It's a shame. I wish Verizon would just be more 'open' to say the least on obtaining devices. We are subject to locked down, bloated, and quite frankly a phone model that lacks much more beyond their European counterparts.

With that being said, I am up for a new contract extension in October and will NOT renew my serves based on the closed, and locked down mentality that VZW has enacted upon. I will go to AT&T and get GSM phones but locked and unlocked and experience much more freedom, albeit slower speeds.

I want the HTC ONE. The DNA doesn't cut it. 16GB......really? lol

Verizon, you really missed the boat on this one.  As a life long VZW customer, l'm jumping ship to get my hands on an HTC One.

AT&T must be laughing in their boardroom.lol!
