I'd prefer SD card as well although the only time I've removed it was when I had to replace my TB (under warranty).  As far as uploading/downloading media, I'm happy with the USB connection (e.g. dont' need to remove the SD card for that).  So the SD card, is a matter of convenience that I'm willing to forego as long as I'm offered enough storage.  Just curious, what do you remove your SD card for?

i have some sd's that only contain media (a TON of music and video/movies), when i travel, i bring them because i can just eject my everyday sd card and throw one in that has all of my movies on it. if my wife or one of my sons wants to watch a flick, i can just throw it their phone. it beats loading certain movies on certain devices whenever we travel.

+2 That's why I'm keeping my options open. This song pretty music sums up my feeling towards Verizon. -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RGhSADIGOY

okay, that's a good idea.  It never occurred to me because I haven't had enough leisure time the last 5 years to be able to benefit from it, but I'd sure like to someday :^b.

So, I have a friend who is the manager of a Verizon Store.  One of his best friends is a higher up at the company, who has access to all info regarding phones.

An email was put out today to the higher-ups at Verizon.

The email stated that the HTC ONE *will* be released by Verizon!  An exact date wasn't given, but it's been given the green light, and will most likely be the DNA+

I know..a friend of a friend of a friend said..., but still, he was very sure of himself.

@fortheloveoftech...Only modified versions of the S4 will allow apps to reside on the SD Card. Apparently this is a Jelly Bean thing not Samsung only.

I just ordered the HTC One through T-Mobile.  I know that there service will not be as good, but I will be paying $30 less per month while still sporting unlimited data.  My VZW contract ends in exactly one month, so I figured that I will at least give T-MO a trial run for the next couple of weeks.

Excited about the phone, and hope the service works for me.  Tired of the day late and dollar short approach to business at VZW.

Will let everyone know how it goes when I am up and running
