I have spoke with a few different reps at HTC also, and they too have given
me the feeling that Verizon will be doing something in regards to making
the HTC One part of their lineup. It's pretty sad that in order for them to
make a smart decision we have to create a huge uproar otherwise I honestly
don't think they would have given in and figured it out on their own! Maybe
they should have a website where customers can go and inform them of what
cool devices are coming down the pipeline so they can make better decisions
based on what their informed and loyal customers recommend... The Droid
label isn't quite cuttin it as of late, and honestly I think the days of
taking these exclusive devices and trying to make them special somehow and
rebranding them are over!

There's always someone who has to make a post like this. Just go to you tube and keep hitting the dislike button for everything you see. That seems to be the kind of person you come across as.
Now, Verizon.. MAKE THE ANNOUNCEMENT !!!!! I can't wait!

No doubt, take that negativity elsewhere.... Some of us actually want a
decent device not a duplicate of last years.... Samsung is really starring
to look and act like Apple and they're big iPhone...lol what a joke

Wouldn't it just be nuts if this thing doesn't release until April 30? And
then Verizon announces that they will release its version by end of May and
only to find out its gonna be a black and red variant with 8gb of storage
and last year's snapdragon S4 pro.....
I love Verizon for all they do!

All this is shaping up to be incredibly frustrating. Verizon should have signed on from the beginning.
HTC should have secured parts and had tons built at the time of release.
All comments by HTC point to Verizon being the problem. This is evident in the email I received from HTC this week. I posted it here, but Verizon mods deleted it. They are watching us here, but whether any of this frustration is being passed up the chain is doubtful.
Verizon needs to get something current in it's line up. Especially since they pulled the DNA, even though I'm sure you can still find the DNA is stores.
The DNA was a misstep, by HTC and V. They should have released it instead of the Incredible 4G. That way it could have run a longer course and HTC could have concentrated on the ONE. I still like the M7 moniker too.
HTC wants to sell as many phones as they can and to do it simply and cheaply by offering one phone. Verizon is clearly jerking HTC around, cause they are smaller. You don't see them side-stepping releases of Samsung and Apple phones. They can't strong arm them.

I'm confused......I just went to the shop phones area of my verizon and the DNA is still available as at $199.99 with contract and $599.99 month to month. Is it that only those who are logged in see this phone?

The DROID DNA showed up again on the Verizon Wireless website this morning. The tech blogs are reporting they can see it again there.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Oh OK so that memory deprived device is back. I was bidding the DNA good riddance now I'm disappointed again and less optimistic about seeing a truly great HTC product on the Verizon shelves.
