i don't like the new gmail-upgrade/look so i want to delete it off my pc and droid-x, so how do I go about it. I'm going back to a nice simple hot mail account. I want this as my primary email accounnt on my phone. Thanks for any help......
The option to uninstall would be under Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All Tab / Gmail / Uninstall Update or Uninstall but even if you uninstal the app you will have to find a copy of the old version to install because the one from the Market would be the same version you uninstalled.
I'm trying to get rid of Gmail completely off my Droid X. Since I don't plan to use it at all I would like it gone and replaced by Hotmail. I've been told that Gmail is the default email account. How do I replace it without damaging my phone.
All you have to do is install the Hotmail app and dont setup or use Gmail but remember if you remove or disable your Gmail account a number of apps wont wirj because they are connected to the gmail account.
