New Activation Help


Hi, I recently received my Samsung s5 and I seem to be having issues activating it. I am a new Verizon customer, and when i turn my phone on it says that it asks me to wait till my phone is activated. After about 15-20 minutes the message disappears. I tried dialing #228, but I get a message saying my phone has not been recognized or registered and to call the service provider. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Congratulations on your new Samsung Galaxy S5 and welcome to Verizon Wireless! What you have described is the SIM activation process with our network. This can take some time to activate. The phone will let you know once it is successfully activated. Are you stil having problems with your phone? Please keep us updated.
